Introduction:

Mission Karmayogi was launched on September 20, 2020, under the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building. It is a national program to enhance the capacity of civil services by providing them with skills and knowledge in areas that are crucial for their functioning.

Inclusions:

Mission Karmayogi is a multi-dimensional programme that focuses on four areas:

1) General Knowledge – This includes topics like history, geography, current affairs, and basic mathematics.

2) Professional Skill Set – This includes topics like public speaking, communication skills, team-building skills, and leadership skills.

3) Personality Development – This includes topics like self-awareness and emotional intelligence.

The program aims at achieving three main objectives:

1) Developing a workforce with skills and capacities that are required for the new age,

2) Developing a workforce that is capable of delivering world-class services,

3) Developing a workforce that can deliver services with high levels of satisfaction to stakeholders.

The programme has been divided into three phases and will be completed by 2021. Phase I aims at developing human resource capabilities and capacity building in the public sector undertakings (PSUs).
